Issues

WPA focuses on a number of issues that are impacting on its members.  As a peak industry body supporting the wood processing sector, WPA is invited to provide feedback or comment to central or local government proposals as well as assisting industry bodies, such as those involved in education and research, to provide a view from the wood processing sector.  WPA initiates a discussion paper and circulates to its members these papers for further comment and sign off.  Over time the issues will change and the list provided on this page of the website is an example of the current issues WPA is attending to.
