NZ Wood Timber Design Awards

For the first time, the NZ Wood Timber Design Awards are being held in Wellington, as an introduction to the wood industry conferences held within the week. This highly acclaimed annual awards evening is a fantastic opportunity to network with other market-related contacts, and view the innovative and aesthetic use of timber by New Zealand architects and engineers.

The evening will begin at 5.30pm with drinks and canapés, and provides the opportunity for attendees to view all the 2010 entries. The formal proceedings, hosted by Kevin Milne, start at 6.30pm. The Timber Design Awards have been recognising excellence in timber engineering and design for many years, and have been hosted by NZ Wood since 2008. The entrants are known to constantly provide entries of a very high standard, making the evening an interesting and worthwhile event.
